Dr Tassilo Moritz at the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems (IKTS) in Dresden, Germany, reports on the outcome of the first two years of the 3-year multi-partner ‘CarCIM’ ceramic injection moulding research project funded by the European Commission within the 6th Framework Programme.

Now only six months away, CERAMITEC 2009 is set to be the major international event for the ceramic injection moulding industry. CERAMITEC 2009, the 11th International Trade Fair for Machinery, Equipment, Plants, Processes and Raw Materials for Ceramics and Powder Metallurgy, takes place in Munich, Germany, from 20-23 October 2009.
Although the exhibition covers the whole ceramics industry, the Technical Ceramics sector is expected to be well represented. Read full story
